Blue box on first install? That is normal

We have not purchased a code-signing certificate yet, so Windows SmartScreen warns on first run. It is not a virus — install in three steps:

1. Double-click the installer, a blue box appears
2. Click "More info" in the blue box
3. Click "Run anyway" to install normally

FAQ

Where is data stored? Need internet?

Data lives 100% in a local database on your machine. Fully offline, no internet, nothing uploaded.

Monitor light is on but nothing logged?

Check the monitored folder path and that Kodak is writing logs there; click "Reload config" or "Rescan existing files".

Other PCs on LAN cannot open it?

Make sure they are on the same LAN, use the LAN address shown on the host (not 127.0.0.1); check host firewall for the port.

Can multiple PCs share data?

Yes. Any PC / phone browser in the shop opens the host address — no separate install needed.

Which CTP devices are supported?

All Kodak hot-folder output models: it reads XpoMessages.log, which Kodak CTP hot folders write, as its data source.

Is it really free forever?

Yes. The local tool is free forever and data stays on your machine. Our business is cloud value-added services; the local version is free.
